119 Miles May 19 Youth Cup

The seafaring spirit of Muğla celebrates May 19 – Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day – with a historic organization. The four most established clubs of the region: Bodrum Offshore Sailing Club (BAYK), Marmaris International Yacht Sport Club (MIYC), Datça Yat Spor Kulübü and Göcek Yat Kulübü Spor Derneği, have come together for the first time to join forces for the '119 Miles May 19 Youth Cup'.

This special race, brought to life with the support of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, is the first major event co-organized by these four distinguished clubs. The aim is for this inaugural race to grow and become an annual tradition.

AN UNCEASING CHALLENGE: 119 MILES! Competitors will push their limits on the challenging and enchanting route where the Aegean and Mediterranean meet.

Start: Monday, May 18, 2026 at 11:00 from Bodrum.

Route: Sailors will head non-stop from the blue waters of Bodrum towards Marmaris.

Finish: Tuesday, May 19, 2026 – the destination of the 119-mile challenge is Marmaris.

CLOSING CEREMONY IN MARMARIS: After the fleet arrives in Marmaris, the grand closing and award ceremony of this historic collaboration will be held under MIYC's hosting.

FOUR CLUBS, ONE ROUTE, GREAT SUPPORT: Organised jointly by BAYK, MIYC, Datça Yat Spor Kulübü and Göcek Yat Spor Kulübü Derneği, with logistics and strategic support from Muğla Metropolitan Municipality.
