19th Channel Regatta

The 19th edition of the "Channel Regatta," jointly organized by the Marmaris International Yacht Sport Club and the Offshore Yachting Club of Rhodes, will take place in Marmaris on September 12, 13, and 14, 2026. A long-standing friendship with the Offshore Yachting Club of Rhodes paved the way for the inception of this race. Sailors living on both shores of the Aegean Sea laid the foundations for the event, driven by the idea: "Why shouldn't we race together in our shared sea?" The race’s motto is "Sailing Together."

Initially, the race would start in Marmaris and finish in Rhodes, or vice versa. Due to changing economic and social conditions, it was decided to hold the race on an alternating basis—in Rhodes one year and in Marmaris the next. We are fully confident that this year’s 19th edition will further strengthen the friendship flourishing between the two shores of the Aegean. Approximately 20 boats and 200 sailors are expected to participate. We wish all competitors clear waters ahead and fair winds.
